Forge dj'd our wedding a few weeks ago at the Haw River Ballroom. His dj'ing was undoubtedly a highlight of the evening. Leading up to the event, Forge was thoughtful and curious in understanding our taste. He was very communicative and responsive and genuinely excited to perform at our wedding. At the wedding, he kept the dance floor rocking for 2.5 hours (until the Ball Room closed). Forge moved from funk to hip hop to disco with artful, skillful energizing transitions. Guests (that span generations) continue to recount the music as a highlight of an amazing evening.

My Husband And I Literally Had To Be Pulled Off The Dance Floor To Do Our Send Off!
I wish that I could write a testimonial that would give enough credit to Forge for the amazing work he did at my wedding, but I know I won't be able to give him the credit he deserves with only a few paragraphs. The only way I could really do that would be to showcase his work by posting a video of the entire night gone by. The dancing that was done, the smiles and expressions on the guests faces as the music played and the amazing song selection and flow of each and every song. Forge is an incredibly talented person who brought so much energy and life to my wedding. I could not have been more pleased with his work or chosen a better person to DJ at my wedding. I was truly lucky to have found him and even luckier that he was available!!! You know you have an awesome DJ when you have an entire night filled with dancing, singing, and mingling on the dance floor - so much dancing that my husband and I literally had to be pulled off the dance floor to do our send off! All of our guests raved about Forge; not the flowers, or the decorations, but the music and the DJ. They all wanted to know who he was and where I found him. There were conversations that went on several weeks after my wedding about him - from people who still could not get over how amazing he was and how much fun they had. Several people told me that the DJ at our wedding was awesome - that every song just flowed into the next and that they had not danced that much in years!!! For that, I can never thank him enough.

DJ Forge has helped us at the NC Museum of Art with numerous events and what strikes me most about him is his professionalism and ability to read the crowd. We have a range of age in our crowds that can be hard to manage musically but not for Forge! He keeps everyone energized, happy and partying!

Our Wedding Couldn't have been any better!
DJ Forge did a PERFECT job at our wedding. We got so many comments about how great the music was! The dance floor was packed the entire night (seriously- so packed that our photographer couldn't get through to take pictures!)! I would highly recommend him for any event- you wont be disappointed. He greatly exceeded our expectations.

Working with DJ Forge at the Bayclay Villa Harris' Wedding was Grand. He knew exactly what to do and when to do it! He made the reception flow flawlessly. We actually got a free minute to sit down and enjoy the event we had worked so hard to make sure would be memorable for family and friends. He comes with my highest recommendation.

I decided to throw my son a surprise 21st birthday party at UNC where he goes to school. Through my son I found out that lots of students were excited to find out that the athletic department had hired a DJ to play at football and basketball games to keep the crowd "in the moment." That DJ was DJ Forge. I had attended a football game and saw first hand how DJ Forge was able to keep the excitement going during pre-game, time outs and half-time. I decided that he was the person I had to hire to ensure my son's party was a success. I made contact with DJ Forge and was able to hire him for the date of the surprise party. That was the BEST decision I ever made. He made the party. Everyone who walked into the party room was so psyched to find out DJ Forge was there. From the minute the music started, he was able to pull everyone onto the dance floor and they didn't move from there until the party was over. It was one great song after the other and the energy was unbelievable until the party ended. DJ Forge was a pleasure to deal with. From our first point of contact to the end of the party, DJ Forge aimed to please. Without reservation I would recommend DJ Forge to work any event you are planning.

Leslie and Vinay's Wedding At North Carolina Museum Of Art
Forge played our wedding on short notice. It was a challenging task: a mix of Indian Bollywood classics, trip-hop, and soul, all to be played with two live drummers. Forge took the few requests that I had and did some research and crate-digging He put together such an impressive, astounding mix that got every person on the floor dancing. And he coordinated the setup and drummers so skillfully that we had friends asking for his contact info and the setlist for weeks after! I can't recommend Forge highly enough. We were lucky to have him because he truly made our wedding an unforgettable party.
