Been back from my trip to cali with Kam for a few days now, but I’ve been super busy and haven’t had a chance to make this post. I have tons of video to edit so there will be a couple of video recaps in the near future (if i ever have time to edit it!). Here’s the bulk of my photos that I uploaded to flickr (make sure to use the next page function, or alternatively click here to go straight to flickr) but hit the jump for a breakdown and walkthrough of the trip! I want to extend a huge thanks first of all to Kam for the invite, but also to the crew we ran with when out in SF/LA :: Karim / Kelay / Rome / Ev / Jern / Charles /Nate (can somebody please link his twitter page for me?!?)

My first stop was in san francisco. Landed in the early afternoon, only to find out the airline lost my bag. They told me it was to help me start my trip off right **shrug** (this is why you see me in the casual clothing in the graf pic from the set). Anyway, here we go:
Hawaiin BBQ is definitely a west coast staple so I had to grab some as my first meal after arriving in san francisco
After we ate we found some dope graffitti in downtown san francisco. We had the first show in san francisco that night at 330 Ritch. It was cool but I had hella jetlag. The next day we got up early for the six hour drive to LA (that’s where the random mountain pics from the set come from). After checking in and gettin fresh we headed down to Fat Beats LA for our first instore performance. Seeing vinyl lining the wall is a dope sight to see in 2009. Later that night we headed to the studio to record a joint, and we were there for most of the night (video soon)
Over the next few days in LA we spent a lot of time recording video content for various internet outlets such as hiphop official. It was cool to be in a creative environment
Saturday we ended up at Roscoe’s chicken n waffles for dinner. Didn’t live up to the hype in my opinion (althought it wasn’t bad), so I guess i’m spoiled by fried chicken here in the south
That night was the second show at V 2 0 in Long beach, which is easily the nicest club I’ve ever been in. Here’s a few pics from after the performance (VIP, with bottles — felt hella outta place!)
Big shouts to DJ Warrior and DJ Stone (and also DJ Stress, not pictured) for holdin down the party all night
The next day we shot some more video for vimby with cook classics, tunji, and the crew. After that we began the long drive back to san francisco, where we shot scenes for Kam’s new video “Forever Fresh”. This area gave an amazing view of the san franciso bay area, and I wish I had a camera that was good enough to do it justice.
After this scene we headed downtown to the mission area to shoot another scene. We found an alley with some amazing artwork on all the walls. This is easily my favorite picture from the trip (make sure to check the set for the rest, there’s some good stuff in there):
