Nerdy DJ: A Site For DJs By DJs
Recently I’ve started working pretty heavily on a new website project, Nerdy DJ. Nerdy DJ is focused on reviewing new DJ gear, providing business advice, giving DJ tips both quick and in-depth, and providing DJ industry opinion.
Although it’s currently in the beginning stages, I have long term plans for the site and hope someday for it to become an authority on DJing and a site that DJs consider a “must read.” Obviously this won’t be an easy task, and it’s already taking up quite a bit of my time as we get the ball rolling. I say “we” because I’ve gotten a few other DJs on board to help with reviews, like this one comparing two of the latest and greatest DJ mixers on the market. I also have a few of my peers confirmed to write some great articles in the near future! My end goal is to be helpful and educate others, which is why we also want to create more posts like this one, which teaches DJs how to clean and maintain the faders on a Rane mixer.
