A New Monthly Showcase At Cat’s Cradle
I’m starting a new monthly at Cat’s Cradle’s new back room venue, currently titled FIRST!. We’ll be showcasing the best in NC hip-hop and have guest performances from out of state acts from time to time. In addition to this I’ll be DJing most of the showcases, which feels good since I haven’t DJed cradle shows in a while!
AMSOC
To get everything started off I wanted to showcase the unity of one of NC’s strongest crews, AMSOC. AMSOC consists of some of the most respected names when it comes to rap music in NC. I’m personally excited for their show and can’t wait to see what they bring to the stage.
SkyBlew
In addition to a crew performance, I wanted to showcase one of the triangle’s most unique MCs, SkyBlew. SkyBlew has a unique style that combines the spirit of soulful beats coupled with lyrics that showcase his love of all things nerdy (which I can totally get behind since I’m a nerd too). Tickets can be purchased online here at the Cat’s Cradle event page. Tickets are $5 in advance, but $7 on the day of show. I hope to see some friends from the area in attendance!
