So the last post I left up was about going to mexico for vacation and my birthday. But what else happened in April in my world? Well, here’s a quick update, starting with the mexico trip:
On a boat in banderas bay in puerto vallarta on the way to go snorkeling. which will be followed by the most gangster picture of me ever

the best potato chips i’ve ever had. purchased from a street vendor. he cut the bag open and sprinkled them with salt, juiced a lime over them, and doused them with hot sauce. couldn’t stop eating them and subsequently bought a second bag. (click read more for the rest of the update, don’t wanna clog up my front page too much :) )
also the best bread i’ve ever had. it had some kind of cheese stuffed into it’s airy pockets. dear bread, i love you.

Ok, ok I have lots of pics and even more video from mexico but I’m gonna edit together a long video recap (someday). The most hilarious part will be me super excited to go snorkeling, then subsequently throwing up from sea sickness. I KNOW YOU’RE EXCITED ABOUT THAT.
I did some pretty cool gigs this past month also, one of them being with the good people at Red Bull, for the Red Bull Chariot Race:

my booth for the event, aka optimus prime. wish I had gotten video but it looks pretty normal before they flip the “coolest dj booth ever” switch and the back lifts up to reveal a full on mobile club environment
the students had to make their own chariots out of whatever they could find. this might have been my favorite one! I also have some hilarious video from the race that i’ll put up sometime soon
played at the ultra swanky and exclusive butter again for a weekend
smashed down bogart’s in a raleigh a couple of times also
that’s about all I have for pictures of nightclub gigs though (partially due to the fact that my significant other/camera person had to move away)
