NCSU Asia Night 2009 from DJ Forge on Vimeo.
These are the types of moments I live for when I spin. Tricks, quick drops, cut offs, whatever you call em, I like to come up with my own and see how people react. This is one that I throw in my sets from time to time, depending on how the crowd has been reacting. Basically, you play Kanye’s “good life” and get everybody going on the “eyyyys” during the hook so that when the second verse comes in and he says “we like them girls that ain’t on tv, cause they got more a$$ than the models” then you can drop it out on “a$$ than the models”. The crowd should fill in the words for that part, then you drop “back dat azz up” by Juvenile (southern club classic) for the reaction. More a$$ than the models -> back dat azz up. These are the types of things I learned from the great DJs in NC that taught me to do what I do, so shouts go out to DJ MC, DJ Flash, DJ Skillz, and DJ Paradime.
