I Am At Lunch…
It’s been a while where I had a day off from my normal job AND from DJing on the same day. I’m off today. Nothing work related or music related. I am at lunch.

I’m in the process of writing my 07 wrap up entry and one about the diamonds benefit…okay I have a lot of catching up to do! But just tonight I rediscovered this gem. Ohhh, Lisette if only I had a time machine :)

It’s 3 am and I just finished watching Heroes. Just as I was about to go to bed, I remembered that Dillagence dropped at Midnight! I’m never going to bed now!
Mick Boogie holds the crown for this year! If you don’t know about Dillagence, check the info below. click the image to download the tape!
For Immediate Release:
Busta Rhymes has teamed with Mick Boogie to release a new online mixtape entitled “Dillagence” that they hope will continue to showcase the talents of the late J-Dilla.
The new mixtape features exclusive songs produced by Dilla for Busta that have never seen the light of day. It also features Papoose, Cassidy, Talib Kweli, MOP, Rah Digga and more.
“When I called Busta with this idea, he was so excited,” said Mick Boogie. “One day I woke up and my in-box was flooded with songs and songs of crazy Busta/Dilla material. I’m honored to be a part of this project.”
“Dillagence” will be released exclusively on Tuesday, November 27 via mickboogie.com
“When Mick brought this concept to the table, I felt the timing was right. Dilla left so much incredible music behind with me personally,” says Busta Rhymes. “It’s almost like he knew I was a vessel for him, and would be able to continue to champion his movement.”
EDIT: Listened to the whole thing, really really solid. I can’t believe this is free! and Rah Digga killed her verse!
Everything I’ve heard from his new album, Free At Last has been dope (especially the joint with Busta and Jadakiss). I’m gonna buy it tomorrow. Here’s a video for “It’s Over” which features one of the BEST flips of “The Masquerade Is Over” that I’ve ever heard (word to Jake One!)
I saw Freeway perform at Beat Society a few months back. Easily one of the best performances I’ve seen, he gave 100% all the way through!
I’m bored at work!
That’s okay with me, that’s where they made me at!!
I’ve had this single on repeat since I first got it in my inbox and it’s good to see it got a good video treatment.
Jay-Z - Blue Magic (ft. Pharrell)
This is probably my favorite track from Graduation. For having a not so great week, this puts me back in a good mood everytime I listen to it. And I just found the video, really diggin’ that as well
I have a love/hate thing with this song, but I think this is outstanding for some reason:
Technology is awesome. Except when it malfunctions. I go into the shower with no new messages, I come out with 127 new messages. WTF!! This is about the third time that my blackberry has re-downloaded my gmail messages for two weeks without any reason at all.
I have an even better story coming soon…about my studio computer crashing :(
